“I prioritize this experience for each of my brides. You are the MODEL.

You are the star of the show on your wedding day and I make sure that you FEEL that in the moment AND that you see it reflected in your wedding photos.”

My dad shot with a film camera and it was always fascinating to me. I never understood why images were so important to him when I was younger. He was the one who bought me my first camera and made me promise to send photos of my husband and I on our many adventures when we moved away from home to our first duty station.

When I was young, he would take my mom and I to the beach for what I call "glamour shots.” He had many stunning photos of my mom over the years that made her feel beautiful and like a model.

We all have a story. Here’s mine...

I have a photograph of my dad that I took the same weekend he gave me my first camera. It’s one of my most precious photos and one of the last photos I took of my dad. Moments that seem small at the time can have lasting impact for generations.

This is why I approach each wedding from the iconic to the small gestures, capturing each moment as it uniquely presents itself. I also love to find a unique way to photograph a location and to include the location in key iconic shots like that of the dress or the invitation suite.

The right photos will document more than action. I strive to fill each photo with emotion, depicting the vibe to transport you right back into the moment, creating your love story and allowing future generations to share in your day as if they were there with you.

“When I find myself in a moment where I am experiencing true joy in my own life, I grab my camera to capture it in some way.

I find that imagery has a unique ability to bring us right back to the emotions we felt in a particular moment, and I love knowing I am giving that to each couple that trusts me with their wedding day.”

moments of togetherness...

When my husband was in the military, we moved a few times and traveled often — I liked to capture photos of us together in each new place and on our adventures.

Early on in my career, I began photographing dogs at shelters to help them find permanent homes. Later, I photographed moments of love in the lives of my friends, like when they were expecting a new little one.

I quickly realized that capturing love for families and generations was the most beautiful thing I could do and I fell head-over-heels for weddings. Wedding photography is impactful and when done right, it can tell the genuine story of a couple to give the next generation a peek into their love story.

I love fiercely. I’m a giver, a helper and an Enneagram 2.
